Sarah Zaske
Sarah Zaske currently serves as the Interim Director of Hope Cares. Sarah is passionate about the physical, social, emotional, and spiritual well-being of both individuals and couples. Throughout her twenty years of pastoral ministry, it has been Sarah’s desire to help others experience whole-life flourishing, and carries this same passion with her leadership in the field of counseling.
Sarah holds her Masters in Mental Health Counseling from Alliance Graduate School of Counseling. Prior to joining the pastoral team at Hope Chapel, she served as a counselor for Wellspring Counseling Center, located in nine locations throughout the New York City metro, of which she pioneered the launch of their Midtown NYC location.
She has experience working in the areas of grief and loss, depression, anxiety, trauma, self-image, stress related issues, as well as marital and relational distress. She takes special interest in working with issues of boundaries, compassion fatigue, burnout, and conflict resolution as it relates to those in a ministry context.
Amy is a Biblical counselor who is passionate about leading people toward healing, maturity, wholeness, and deeper connection with God. She has over 16,000 hours of experience as a counselor and life coach, and 25 years in ministry. Amy counsels people toward flourishing in their relationship with God, others, and themselves. She believes healing and transformation are God’s heart for people, and she has a passion to help others walk through difficulty, grow in awareness and health, develop tools, and discover invitations for healing and intimacy with God in the midst of their circumstances.
Amy completed a Master of Science Degree in Educational Psychology (Counseling) with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy from Baylor University and has a Bachelor of Science in both Psychology and Sociology from Southwest Baptist University.
Amy specializes in the areas of anxiety and depression, life transition, personal issues such as stress, self-worth, career challenges, and family of origin issues. With her background in marriage and family, Amy also provides care in the area of pre-marital and marriage counseling.
